East Coast NABD BHPH Conference
November 6-8, 2011
Atlanta, Georgia
Houston, Texas – August 11, 2011 – The National Alliance of Buy Here, Pay Here Dealers (NABD) today announced the details of its upcoming East Coast NABD BHPH Conference in Atlanta, Georgia on November 6-8, 2011. The Conference will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center with adjoining accommodations at the fabulous new Atlanta Airport Gateway Marriott Hotel.
NABD Founder and President Kenneth Shilson said the conference is co-sponsored by the Georgia Independent Auto Dealers Association (GIADA). “We are excited to be working with GIADA on this event, because NABD was created to complement the training provided by the state associations and by NIADA. This will allow people who aren’t able to attend our Las Vegas conference each May to participate in important specialized BHPH training.”
The educational sessions at the conference includes two keynote speakers. Melinda Zabritski, Director of Automotive Credit for Experian, will discuss some important new BHPH industry demographics and Keith Whann, General Counsel for NIADA, will provide a regulatory and legal update including a discussion on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
The program will also feature over sixteen (16) different workshops covering important operational and financial aspects of the BHPH business. Other presentations will include the latest industry benchmarks and trends, a compliance update, using social media effectively, and finding the best inventory today! The educational sessions also include interactive operating panels covering underwriting, collections and best practices featuring some of the nation’s most successful operators. “The workshop sessions will feature some of our best training on underwriting and collections,” Shilson indicated.
More than 100 sponsors are expected in an exhibit hall featuring all the latest products and services. Two receptions and a luncheon will be held in the exhibit hall to facilitate networking between dealers, experts, and service providers. Those interested in exhibiting are encouraged to call NABD at 713-290-8171 while space is still available.
Discounted accommodations are available at the new Atlanta Airport Gateway Marriott Hotel. A free dedicated sky train connects the Convention Center and hotel to the airport, making the need for ground transportation unnecessary. “The exhibiting and meeting facilities are exceptional and attendees will enjoy some excellent training at a very enjoyable venue,” Shilson said. Space is limited so those interested in attending are encouraged to register online at www.bhphinfo.com or by calling 713-290-8171 promptly.
NABD is the only used car special interest group exclusively for the self-finance industry. Membership is open to anyone in the BHPH industry and to service providers. Members pay no dues.
